Plants & Invertebrates

The so-called invertebrates have neither a spine nor other bones. Some species from the group of crustaceans or insects have an exoskeleton instead. For example, a carapace or a hard covering made of chitin.

At first glance, it may sound as if these are all quite “simply developed” animals. However, they include many extremely specialized species that can cope with habitats where we “bony warm-blooded creatures” would fail.

It is not without reason that cockroaches and other insects are said to be able to survive even a global nuclear war.

In this blog, I would like to introduce you to invertebrates and the plants they live with and from.
